Jones Knowledge Privacy Policy for Online Information

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for Jones Knowledge, the e-global library website and the e-global library subscription service (collectively, "e-global library"). As part of our commitment to your privacy, we have adopted this Privacy Policy to help you understand what information we gather about individuals who use the e-global library, how we use that information after we've gathered it and when and how we disclose that information. At Jones Knowledge we strive to help our customers protect their privacy while accessing or using the e-global library. Jones Knowledge wants to make your online experience satisfying and safe. Information We Collect

Jones Knowledge collects information about its users to make it easier and more rewarding for you to use the e-global library, to ensure proper access to the e-global library, and for marketing and sales purposes. What Cookies Are and How Does Jones Knowledge Use Them

How You Can Update, Correct, or Delete Your Information

Following registration, you can use your My Account page to review and change the information you submitted during registration. Upon your request, we will remove your personal information from our operational databases (unless you are a registered subscriber and your account is in dispute, in which case your information will be kept on file until the dispute is resolved). To make these requests, use the Contact Us Web page. Technical constraints and the fact that we back up our systems may prevent the total elimination of your personal information from our systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personal information will be completely removed from all of our databases in response to your requests.

How Your Information Is Protected

Jones Knowledge takes every reasonable precaution to protect your information from loss, misuse, or alteration. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect sensitive information such as your credit card number and we use system and network security to protect our internal systems. You should recognize that, while it is reported to be more secure to process credit card purchases through such systems than many other traditional means, there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the Internet.

To the extent that you disclose information to other parties, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Since Jones Knowledge does not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to the privacy customs and policies of that third party. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave the e-global library and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that you visit.
